Yet your caption editor perpetuates the long discredited hoax of 19th Century embryologist Ernst Haeckel, that 40 day human embryos have gills and are indistinguishable from other organisms. (See http://www.answersingenesis.org/docs/380.asp and http://zygote.swarthmore.edu/evo5.html ) That must be what comes from a public school education, since textbooks still perpetuate the myth.
